Download website files

  I am attempting to upload my website files to my hosting account (GoDaddy) via Filezilla.
  I am told that I need to locate me public_html file in particular.
  As a novice to the process I feel I have missed a stage, as I do not remember having downloaded any files from WordPress onto my computer.
  Could you tell me how I go about saving my website files onto my pc to enable me to upload my public_html file and other website files to my hosting account.

  Hi Andrew,

  On WordPress.com, you don’t have direct access to the file system. If you’re migrating your site to GoDaddy and WordPress.org, you can follow our instructions at http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#moving-to-wordpress-org

  You’ll need to install WordPress.org on your GoDaddy account first. GoDaddy does have a one-click installer for you. Instructions can be found at http://support.godaddy.com/help/article/834/installing-wordpress-on-your-hosting-account
