  Don’t I need to download my wordpress? I accidentally signed up and chose the password or account only thing and it didn’t give me anything to download? I’ve used a wordpress blog before and thought I downloaded it and then ftp uploaded it to a domain/website. Am I wrong? Link? Help…. Thanks!

  If you want to have your site on WordPress.COM (here) then no software download is needed or possible) – Log back into your account and there should be an option to convert your name into a blog (sorry I don’t remember the exact steps) This should help: http://en.support.wordpress.com/getting-started/

  That will give you a free blog hosted here, Review the Terms of Service: http://en.support.wordpress.com/topic/tos-copyright/

  If you really want to download the software then you also need to find a host to install it on (usually paid and more work)
