Download WordPress Site Without Access to Current Host

  Hi there,

  I have a client whose current web host provider isn’t responding anymore. They’d like me to move their site to a new host. Is it possible to download the WordPress website files via WordPress, and then move to a new host with an FTP client? I appreciate any insight!

  These forums are limited to supporting WordPress.com hosted sites, as there are some major differences in how problems are addressed – specifically to your question, WordPress.com and WordPress.org do not communicate in that fashion.
