Download wp-config.php?

  I’m trying to transfer site content built at WordPress.com to another host.

  There are two export options: one for “Export Content,” which delivered an emailed link to download a ZIP file containing an XML file of, I assume, all the site pages, and one for “Export Media Library” which downloaded a TAR file with all the images in a folder.

  I understand I also need a wp-config.php file to make the site work at the new host. If so, how do I get this?

  You do not have access to wp-config.php on WordPress.com sites – you do not need it in order to export your site over to another host. Please take a look at our support page here and let me know if you have any questions.
