Downloaded theme different than demo

expound theme shows post than four in a horizontal row under neath
after down load it is all posts vertically
have tried what i could find that might fix problem they didn’t work
ant help would be appreciatedPaul

Have you looked through the demo page for that theme and also the threads on Expound in the Themes forum? Configurable themes never come out of the box the way they look in the example, and for god knows what reasons the designers don’t include the instructions.

Hi Paul,
Looks like you need to assign the featured tag to the posts. From the theme description (http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/expound/)
Navigate to Appearance → Customize → Featured Content.
Enter the name of a tag.
Click the blue “Save” button at the bottom.After that’s set, then do the following:
- Go to All Posts.
- Click the box next to the 5 posts you want to show similar to the demo. There should be a checkmark.
- In the drop down above the list of posts, change it to “Edit” and click the blue “Apply” button.
- Additional fields will now be present. In the Tags box, type the name of tag you set up in the earlier steps.
- Click the blue “Update” button.
When you refresh your home page, you should now see it matches the demo.

Yes, you will need to add the featured tag to every new post you create and publish.
