Hi there,
Could you explain further? Is this a theme you purchased here at WordPress.com? Or, are you trying to add a third-party theme to your WordPress.com site?
If it’s the latter….Themes can’t be uploaded to blogs hosted on WordPress.com. They can only be uploaded to self-hosted blogs running on WordPress.org software. You can read more about the differences between WordPress.com and WordPress.org here:
On WordPress.com, you can select from a variety of themes to change your blog’s appearance. You can read more about customizing the appearance and theme of your blog on WordPress.com here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/adding-new-themes/
We offer over 280 themes, both free themes and premium themes created by leading theme companies. You can view all of our themes and filter them by specific criteria here:
You can also post suggestions for new themes we might add on our public user forum:

If this doesn’t address your issue, please explain further and I can assist! Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks very much.

Thanks for your quick reply – I have purchased it here on Word Press but I want to use it elsewhere – I tried purchasing it somewhere else but it is different and not what I wanted.
I just want to be able to use this theme with the wordpress software I have with blue host
does that make sense – I’m a bit dumb when it comes to this

Hi there!
I see. Thanks for the explanation. You have purchased the premium theme, Lens, for a WordPress.com site: bluesbabybluesnew.wordpress.com.
If you want to use that theme on a self-hosted.org site at Bluehost, you would have to purchase the Lens template that was built specifically for a WordPress.org site.
The theme isn’t exactly the same, but it’s close:
http://wpthemes.org/lens-wordpress-theme-review/If you’d like, I can cancel your theme here at WordPress.com and refund your purchase cost. Or, I can transfer the premium theme to another WordPress.com site.
Let me know how you’d like me to process, and I’m happy to help you move forward with your choice! Thank you.

Hi there
You are so extremely helpful and I appreciate it.
To be honest I can’t figure out how to make the theme work when I use it outside of word press.
I have installed the Lens theme on Blue Host and it looks like this:
http://www.bluesbabyblues.comI have also paid for it on my wordpress account and it look like this:
https://bluesbabybluesnew.wordpress.com/The latter is what I am wanting.
Is it possible to build the site on word press and once done move it to the Blue Host site.
1 have paid for the next 2 years on Blue Host
2 that is where the http://www.bluesbabyblues.com name isIt is so much easier to use on wordpress

Hey there Pippa!
It’s definitely a lot more work to set up your theme on a self-hosted site. However, the theme’s developer has set up some super helpful tutorials here:
http://themeforest.net/item/lens-an-enjoyable-photography-wordpress-theme/5713452There are video tutorials, PDF instructions, and they even appear to be online now, if you want live help.
Because I have no access to your files on Bluehost, I’m afraid I cannot be helpful with the setup.
Is it possible to build the site on word press and once done move it to the Blue Host site.
You can use our Guided Transfer program, but you still may lose many of the customizations you make here, when you migrate your site.
About Guided Transfer:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/guided-transfer/While bluesbabyblues.com is currently being used at Bluehost, if you’d prefer, you can map that domain name to your WordPress.com site here. Your domain host and your web host do not need to be one in the same.
Thanks, Pippa….let me know if you decide to stay with WordPress.com, and I can assist further. Otherwise, I think between Theme Forest and Bluehost, they should be able to help you get your site up and running!
Take care.
