Downloading an entire blog to my home computer

  Hi all,
  I want to download my wordpress blog to my home computer, in it’s entirety; video’s, photos, text and all. All the backup tools I see seem to separately download databases and content. Is there a way to simply make a copy of your entire blog on your home computer?

  The answer depends on the type of blog, may we have the URL of the blog in question beginning with http so we can give you the proper advice?

  There is software that you have to install on your computer that allows you to install wordpress and run it on your computer. When you export your blog, what you will get is all the posts, pages, cats, tags, drafts. You will not get the theme, that would have to be installed separately. When you import into the wordpress software on your blog, you will be given the choice as to whether you want to import images and such.

  As auxclass suggests though, it depends on the blog as to whether everything will transfer over and work or not.
