Downloading Media from Site

I have a group of photos I uploaded to my site and some of my masters for those photos are now missing from my home computer.
I want to download those photos to have copies back in my master file and thought the PlugIn downml would be a tool to do so, but now discover that with wordpress.COM (as opposed to .ORG) I have to beg for the right to use this tool.
How can I get this PlugIn and use it on my .com WordPress site?

You can’t. Plugins are not allowed on WordPress.com (http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/). You can suggest it be added, but new features are only added if a significant number of users ask for it, and even then it can take months to implement. The ideas forum is to make those suggestions.
For now the only way to download files from your media library is to go to Media ->Library in your dashboard, view the image you want to download and then right-click on it and select Save Image As…
