Downloading my entire website
-
Hi, I’m preparing an anthropological resource website (uvakkavo.org) with a lot of my own material, and doing it in book form, with many menus and internal links. There will be texts, photos, and audio, and some video too. When the site is reasonably complete, I would like to be able to download the whole thing onto a hard drive so that people without an internet connection can look at it just as I have laid it out with your infrastructure. I want to send copies to the people who helped me collect the material. Will I be able to save the whole site, and may I? Will the internal links work just as they do online? (Of course any external links will not work offline, but I can keep those to a minimum.)
Can I continue to download on an ongoing basis, so that the saved website mirrors what is online as I change it?Thanks for your help!

In a way, yes. Each viewer would need to setup a local server environment and install WordPress from http://wordpress.org/
You can get help with that at http://wordpress.org/support/
Then, you can export your blog from Tools -> Export, and each person can then import this file.
