Downloading podcasts from our WP site

    We’re making our audio files (interviews, podcasts, etc.) available to download from our site here, and I was wondering how to add a button that will begin a download just with one click. As it is, I currently have a text link that users can right-click, but I’d like to minimize the effort for them and have a way the download begins simply by clicking an icon. Is there a piece of code I need to add for this?

    Hi there,

    There isn’t a way to create a one-click download link here at WordPress.com. Depending on your visitors’ browser settings, clicking on an audio link may open the file in the browser or download the file. However, there isn’t a way for you to force the file to download with one click.
