Downloading posts for memories

    Hi! My website is a blog from my time studying abroad in Spain. I don’t want to lose my posts, so I’d love to be able to download them (Word document, book, etc). Is there a way to do this besides copy and pasting everything?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi sbotts,

    Great question! You can export a backup of your content from the following page.

    Note: This will ONLY export your posts, pages, comments, categories, and tags; uploads and images may need to be manually transferred to the new blog.

    If you’d like to backup the media files as well, you will need to install WordPress.org locally on your computer, and run the import from it. This process will download the media files to your computer.
