Downloading site

    I want to download my site ‘Miriam in Juarez’ for posterity, but I don’t know how. Is there a way to do this? Thank you. :)

    Hi there,

    It’s not possible to download a complete WordPress.com site, only to export the content. That export will be as a .xml file – a machine-readable format that’s meant to be imported to another site/platform. You can get a file like that at My Site ->Tools ->Export:

    If you want to keep a human-readable version of the site, like a PDF or ebook format, you’ll need to go one step further after the export: there are services like fastpencil.com and blogbooker.com who can then convert that XML export file into a document format.
