  Hi. I want to make a number of files (PDF’s, images) available for download from one of our hidden pages – can you advise how to do this please I can currently only see how to add media to view. Thanks!

  Hi there. Adding documents work exactly the same as adding media files. But where media files are embedded, documents will appear as a downloadable link. See here for more information: https://en.support.wordpress.com/uploading-documents/

  Media files embed automatically, and I don’t know of a way to prevent that, but visitors can download those by right-clicking on the image and selecting Save image as. If you have the Premium upgrade you can upload the images as a zip folder instead which will show a link like a document: https://en.support.wordpress.com/accepted-filetypes/

  Keep in mind that if your site is public, anyone with the link can download the document, even if they don’t have the password of the page where it appears, so if the docs contain sensitive info, consider password-protecting the docs themselves as well.
