    When I delete an article, I don’t want people to be able to download it any more;
    1 This is an ecommerce site and this access gives them articles for free, and
    2 Some of them are out -of – date which will erode its credibility.
    Somebody has already explained that this may be due to access to old Google caches, but this is not the solution. I need to have this stopped, whatever is the reason.

    So yes, as @kokkieh explained in your previous thread, the only way to prevent this is to use a membership plugin to properly make content on your site inaccessible for anyone except a logged-in visitor who has paid for access, or an e-commerce plugin like WooCommerce that will allow you to upload these files as downloadable products, rather than just files that site in your media library at publicly-accessible URLs.

    You can also try to discourage your site from being indexed by search engines, although, that way, it will be difficult for others to find it:
