Dozens Of Fake Subscribers

    Over the last couple of weeks on http://simanndriving.co.uk/blog I’ve been hit by dozens of new subscriptions which I am convinced are fake/spam (all seem to be from Hotmail accounts). This culminated in a comment being posted yesterday stating that the user in question was getting multiple e-mails whenever anyone commented on my blog (there have been no comments in two years!).

    I decided to set up a new blog alongside a couple more I have at http://simanndriving.wordpress.com/ and transfer all the content over (success so far!).

    Has anyone else had this trouble with multiple fake subscriptions and is there any way I can protect myself against them in the future?

    Also, is there an easy way to wipe simanndriving.co.uk/blog of all content and subscribers and start that one fresh please?
