  I started writing a post and left it logged on my mac book yesterday, came to my computer today and the draft had been deleted. I had left it there before and it remained there but when opening today it had gone.

  Is there any way of retrieving this?
  I really don’t want to start it again!

  Take a look in your Revisions file. And also, use the Classic Editor. The new one doesn’t seem to kick in the autosave https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/blog-post-published-blank?replies=11
