Draft Blog Post has Disappeared!!
-
Hi there. Just recently created a Blog on WordPress. I have 3 posts so far and was working on a draft post today. I kept saving it as I went. However a few hours later when I returned to it I can’t get back into it to edit it. :-(
When I click on Blog Posts it is showing 3 for Published Blog Posts and 1 for Draft.
When I click on Draft it says – No Posts found. But at the blue band along the top of the page I can see the title of my blog post. When I click on continue editing it comes up with this message:
Invalid Post Address
This post cannot be found. Check the web address or start a new post. When I click on New it is a blank post.
Does anyone know how to retrieve the old blog post?
Really disappointed as it was a work in progress. And now I am thinking any time I work on a blog and don’t publish it at the the time this is going to happen!
I had previewed the blog post a few times so really do not know where it has gone….
Any help / tips would be much appreciated. :-) Would love to be able to recover this draft. Many Thanks. :-)
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you are not logged in under the correct WordPress.COM username account that registered the site and is an Admin then clear your browser cache https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-your-browser-cache and cookies https://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/#clearing-wordpress-com-cookies prior to logging into another account
The Admin login link to the dashboard of that site is

The saved draft posts are found at
http://quirkeinstein.wordpress.com/wp-admin/edit.php?post_status=draft&post_type=postThe saved draft pages are found at

Thanks for the information time thief. In the end I actually figured out a really simple way to retrieve the draft post by doing the following:
In blog post section rather than clicking into post which is blank, hover mouse over draft post at top and click on “open link in new tab.”
New tab will miraculously show original post.
Set visibility from Public to Private post. (Admin and Editors)
Now draft blog post is now saved. PHEW!
It can be found in your published section but will say Private at the start.
Problem Solved. :-)
