draft disappeared

    I have literally worked most of the day on a post to my blog and tonight I had some trouble uploading a couple of images to it before posting and something happened and now it is completely gone! I spent the entire day on this post and it’s gone! I looked on my dashboard for all drafts and it’s not there. I was trying out the new editor when I wrote the post. When I couldn’t get the pictures to load in the new editor, I think I tried changing over to classic mode to see if the photos would load that way. That is when I lost it. I had not named it yet, but the date on the draft should be 1/2/2014. Do you think there is ANY way of recovering this or did I just completely waste a day of writing?

    Hi there,

    I just took a look in your account, and other than a post which looks entirely too old to be the one which you are speaking of:

    It doesn’t appear that a draft was made of your post. With the new editor, you do need to make sure that you are clicking the Save Draft button on a regular basis, as the only auto-save is local to your browser.

    I sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. I wish that I had better news for you.
