Draft disappearing while typing

  I am so upset because I really worked hard on this post only to have it disappear WHILE I was typing it but I will try to stay rational.

  I was working on a post in my drafts and probably did not hit Save as often as I should have. At any rate, I was typing/trying to install a picture into my post when a gray pop up popped up. I was either typing too fast or who knows, but I didn’t even get to see what the prompt said. It quickly disappeared and my entire post vanished with it, reverting to a previous draft version of that post. Everything I worked on disappeared. I can’t even see the “revisions” of the post because none exist.

  Do prompts/pop ups typically show up in Drafts on WordPress as you are typing? Because this has NEVER happened to me before (and I’ve been blogging on WordPress for about 5 years).

  I doubt I will be able to recover my post… I will most likely have to rewrite everything from scratch. But if anybody has any information that can shed light on this, please share!
