Draft disappered and I can't find it

  Where’s my draft?
  I just spent the past hour working on a draft. I pressed preview and I was taken to the page where I could select text or what-not, as if I were starting a new post. I pressed the back button to go to an earlier screen, and I was taken to my blog list. Where’s my draft? I can’t find it! I’m very upset! Please help!

  Your drafts are at > Dashboard > Posts > All Posts (Drafts)

  If the post was created on the dashboard of your own blog at Dashboard > Posts > All Posts > Add New then you ought to be able to recover a lost post or page from revisions if needs be.

  I recommend:
  Always create your posts on the dashboard of your own blog at
  Dashboard > Posts > All Posts > Add New
  Always allow pages to fully load before clicking any other links.
  Use an offline blog editor so you have backups on your own computer http://en.support.wordpress.com/xml-rpc/

  Thank you, timethief, for your quick response. I’ve tried all your suggestions and still can’t find it.
  I even checked to see if I have my blog set to the right time, thinking that could affect visibility. But it’s set correctly. I think it just failed to save. But I don’t understand how that could be given WordPress posts are supposed to be saved every 2 minutes, and I worked on this one for an hour or so. There’s simply NO trace of it anywhere. I created this post on the dashboard of my own blog, and I didn’t use any other links. Any other suggestions?

  I am sorry to tell you that if it is not in your Drafts and not in the Trash then it’s gone forever.

  I decided to look through all my other blogs before I gave up. It was put in another blog. Not sure why. But glad to find it. Just an FYI, in case others encounter this problem.
