Draft Erased
-
I spent several days editing a blog I intended to post, which I spent a lot of time on, and despite hitting ‘save’ multiple times (and confirming the save took place) my blog’s draft was reverted back to its status from weeks ago. I made dozens of significant edits. The new updated draft is gone. There’s really not a question here – I’m done using this product because it’s trash. Your platform erased a ton of hard work.

Hi there,
I’m sorry to hear that, it certainly sounds frustrating.
Have you checked the revisions for this post though? The saved version should be there: -
I tried this. According to the revision history, there’s a seven day gap (September 17 to September 24) during which *no* revisions took place, so my only versions are 9/17 pre-edit and 9/25 when I resumed for some touch-ups. I had been writing & saving all along. It’s bizarre and infuriating.

What is the URL of the site with the problem, and were you using WordPress.com itself or one of our apps?
-
Using wordpress dot com. No point in sharing the URL. The draft is gone. I’ve checked every possible way. Lesson learned – use something else.

What is the URL of the site this happened on (not the draft, just the site you wrote the draft for)?
