Draft Failing to Save

  Hello, I keep trying to write for the website I work for, and it consistently says ‘Saving of draft failed.’ I have no clue why, I’ve logged out and logged back in. Used different computers. And contacted to owner of the website, and everything seems to be good. I can’t submit for review unless the draft saves (obviously), so please help!

  Hello,

  I appreciate your help. Unfortunately that still didn’t work. However, I have noticed that I CAN write on my personal profile. It’s only when I switch to the website that I work for, that it fails to save, there not allowing me to “Submit for Review”.

  Hi coreylobo16,

  You mentioned using a different computer but would you be able to try a different internet connection? For example, home, work or a friend. This will help rule out any connection issues.

  Hello,

  Yes. I have tried my home connection (5G and normal), my work laptop on a different internet connection, and even hotspotting my personal computer.

  I was just going to get them to kick me out of the group, and then add me back in and seeing if that could make a difference any how?

  I don’t think leaving and rejoining the site will make a difference, as this is not an issue with your permissions on the site. More likely it’s a plugin on that site that’s causing problems, but we’ll need the site owner to contact us via live chat so we can troubleshoot that with them.

  If I had to guess, I’d say it’s one of the two plugins allowing contributors to upload media files – something that’s normally restricted to authors and higher. Most likely the fact that there are two such plugins on the site are causing a conflict. Did you by any chance try to upload media files in the review you’re trying to save?
