Draft is Gone
-
I have been working on a blog post for days. It was called 30 Year Old Girl. I was finishing the final touches on it after writing on it for hours today…I went to import a photo onto it, and when I pressed “upload image”, the tab loaded and then showed up with a blank post. When I hit the back button, it pulled up a different draft from a couple weeks ago. I hit the back button and it just showed up blank again (no title in the title window, and no words in the post box) It is not showing up under the “drafts” either. This is a very important post and I’m trying to keep from having a meltdown. There must be some way to pull up the post I’ve been working on…it was called “30 Year Old Girl” and was roughly 1600 words. Please let me know the status on your end and if there is anything else I can do on my end. I have left the original tab open where I was working on the post. Please, please do anything you can.

Hi Mary,
Situations like this can happen sometimes when you are working on one entry while you have another entry open in another browser tab or window. Having them both open confuses our auto-save function and the drafts will sometimes get saved in different posts, or very occasionally not at all.
I would recommend that you browse through any other posts which you might have had open and look through the revision histories. Check for your lost post in there. It may have gotten cross-saved.
Sadly, if it isn’t there, then it is lost.
