Draft not posting on the publishing date

  • Unknown's avatar

Today, I finished a draft I had created about ten days ago. When I published this post today, the post was located at the date the draft was created, not the today’s date!

I deleted this post, and recreated it. However, when I published this newer post, it again was located back about ten days. I had to make it a “sticky” in order for it to be the top post in my blog.

I am not sure what will happen to this post when I unstick it when I publish my next post, but it would be nice to have this erratic post stay where it belongs.

    Any ideas?

I also have some iApps. Might those somehow be causing a conflict?

You can modify a post date going to articles / all articles / quick edit.

Thank you, but the published date was the correct date for both the first, and the second versions of this particular post.

BUT, as I stated in my original forum help post, after each post was published, they both ended up located on the date the original draft version was created, and not on the date they were actually published, even though the publish date stated the correct date.

This also happened to the second draft version I created on the same date that post was publishing. Obviously, there is a bug somewhere.

This morning I published a post that was originally created, and saved as a draft post using an iApp on August 24th.

However, when I published this latest post, it was again located on the “Creation” date, and NOT on the “Published” date whch is today! Once again I had to change the post to a Sticky in order for it to be the first post on my blog.

I did notice that when I modified, and updated the post, the date never changed. This is the same behavior that ocurred with the post I started this support post on.

There is a bug somewhere, and it would be nice if it were fixed.
