DRAFT OF POST HELP!

  I just spent hours adding to a post and kept saving drafts of it, and then I went to delete something in the post and I think pressed backspace, and next thing I know my hours of work are gone even thought I’ve been saving the drafts! What did I do and how can I find that draft?!?!?! Thank you!

  You can look the last autosave for Posts » Post Revisions
  You can look in the last autosave for Pages » Page Revisions

  In your Dashboard view, on the upper right corner, under the “[name]” is a tab labeled “Screen Options.” Click it. Here is a list of the screens where the modules can be hidden:
  Posts – Post Tags, Categories, Excerpt, Send Trackbacks, Discussion, Comments, Post Slug, Post Author, Post Revisions
  Page – Page Attributes, Recommendations, Featured Image, Discussion, Comments, Slug, Author, Revisions

  Select those and return to your Dashboard then read more here > Recovering a lost blog post or page

  I’d likje to suggest that you use an offline blog editor to compose posts and pages in and to publish to your blog from. If you do that you will always have backups on your own computer, just in case you need them
