"Draft" post showing up as posted–help!
-
This afternoon, a post I began working on this morning is showing up as posted in the sidebar on my blog’s homepage. It is not in the main column, but if I click on the link, the post comes up as if I had already posted it. I have never had this problem before–is everyone seeing it this way? Is there something I can do about it, or is there a problem with WordPress right now or something? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

I went CRAZY with this yesterday. What I did was open a new window and copy and pasted everything into a new post and saved it as a draft. I could see in my first window the original draft posted had been published on some date in the past (way back in March when I first created the draft post.) I deleted it. Then I proceeded to work on the new draft post I had created. I don’t know if this will help you or not. It worked for me so I hop it works for you too.

Thank you–everything is back to normal. I did like you said, except I used “Copy an existing post” so that I did not have to do all my tags and categories over. That was very odd, though. I wonder if it had anything to do with the fact that I made a link for requesting feedback from a friend? That is the only thing I can think of that I did differently today…
Anyway, thanks, timethief, for the quick reply! -
