Draft post will not allow me to publish it online.

I subscribed to WordPress Premium to create a blog, and have now saved a draft post and am ready to proceed. Unfortunately, it won’t give me a “publish” button, and I am unable to make the post go live. What can I do?

It looks like you were able to successfully publish your About page. The “Publish” button also looks available on this page draft:

Hi, Jeremey, in fact the Publish button is not showing up in my view, just the Preview and Save Draft function. I keep getting asked to confirm my email, though I did that last week. I have tried repeatedly to resend the email as it asks, but to no avail.
Here’s the message I get: “Please confirm your email address.
A confirmation email was sent to (email visible only to moderators and staff). Confirmation will enable publishing of posts on your blog.
Resend Email | Update Email Address.” Might this be the problem? -
