Draft Posting
-
All weekend and so far today, all my posts have been saving to draft status rather than be published to my blog. This happens when I hit the publish button. I have to reopen the post and hit PUBLISH again and sometimes it takes 3 or 4 times of doing that to get the post to publish.
What might be wrong?

And the details of your setup would be?…
Please note that shouting (ie typing in ALL CAPS) is considered rather rude at most public forums on the net. I’ve gone ahead and edited your post.

I have had this problem also. Hitting Save and continue editing, before publishing, seems to help reduce this problem.

Didn’t work. I still have one post that refuses to publish. And the only word I highlighted with the caps was PUBLISH and that was to separate it from the rest of the text. That isn’t considere rude or shouting. If I had done the entire text in caps, it would be … or entire phrases.
I am rather well versed in Internet courtesy and etiquette and don’t like to be corrected when I am not wrong.

I have similar problems. Write entry, click “Publish”, and an action is randomly selected from the following:
1. Publishes normally. (Thankfully, this is the most common)
2. Saves post as a draft, so I have to click it, get it back, and click Publish again.
3. Saves post as a draft SECRETLY, so that when I look at the blog I notice that the post isn’t there. On returning to “write a post”, I now see the draft and bring it down and click Publish again.
4. Saves post as a draft AND ALSO publishes the post, so when I do the action at (2) and then check the blog, I find two instances of the post. I then go and delete one.
Because of this, I end up looking at the blog after every post to see what happened, which is a pain if I have a few posts to enter.
This has been going on for quite a while. I know you’re working on it, and I can assure you from the bottom of my heart that I wish you every success—and soon.
