Draft wasn’t saved

Some of the draft was saved but I had been working for the last couple of hours and hadent saved my work. Stupid yes, but I am new to this. I opened another tab up on my browser and when I went back to the WordPress tab, all the extra work I have been doing was going. I have checked history but it is not there. I also have no trash yet. I hope there is something that can be done to retrieve it?

Same problem here. I worked for well over two hours last night on a new article. I started working on it again today. I hit “save draft” and got the message “are you sure you want to do this?” I can’t remember if I clicked OK or not but when I went to check my draft, it was completely gone. EVERYTHING. My work from today and all my work from the previous night. It had reverted to a draft saved right near the beginning of the time I worked on the article. Not cool, WP.

Same issue here. Lost over an hour of work despite definitely scheduling a post for later and it showing up as “saved”. Only left with tags and title – no content left at all!
