  Hello.
  I have been a proud blogger of wordpress for a one year now. For exactly one year I have nothing but love for wordpress. Constantly I would brag about how wordpress makes blogging fun, easy, manageable. Until today. I was completing a blog post I have been working months on and suddenly POOF the post is gone. Every punctuation mark, every word, every sentence, every paragraph, gone. As if my typed soul never existed. I was simply adding a photo to my post, saving it to my drafts when everything evaporated. I am hurt and deeply disturbed. Please tell me there is someway you can retrieve what was lost. Surely after the 100th save, the blog post goes somewhere else besides my drafts. Please help this disgruntled blogger. I am seriously considering switching to WIX.

  Did you try to locate a post revision?

  Staff are working on improving post and page revisions. The most recent 25 revisions are available for posts and pages.

  If you cannot restore from your browser, or locate a revision, or restore from Trash then the content has been lost and cannot be recovered.

  Please go to https://wordpress.com/post with the same browser and see if it offers to restore a post. If a restore button appears, that means a local copy was saved in your browser and you may be able to recover it.

  If the post was created on the dashboard of your own blog at Dashboard > Pages > Add New then you ought to be able to recover a lost post or page from revisions if needed.
