  I had been writing a post and it has just disappeared. I put a lot into that piece of work. And to think I shall have to rewrite it is a real drag. it is in none of drafts. All my other drafts are there. There is nothing in the trash. Please tell me how to get it back. I figured out once how to restore a post prior, but this was done within my blog space. But, I don’t even have that.

  Hi there, what was the title of the draft you were working on?

  Were you creating this post on the computer using a browser, or using the WordPress app?

  I believe it was “How about Free Will?” Without doubt free will is in the title. Computer using Google Chrome

  Do you think you can help? I have tried looking via wordpress and my own computer files and have gotten nothing. I have put so much work into it. it is depressing to think of writing a second one. This on was over 3300 words, and who knows how many hours of thought and typing,

  Thanks, I was able to have a quick look at your posts but it appears this may have been renamed to “Does It Sadden Me to Write These Types of posts?”.

  Your activity log should indeed show “What the Heck is Free Will” – the activity log is under Jetpack > Activity Log for reference. The direct link for it should be this:
  https://wordpress.com/activity-log/aquestionersjourney2.wordpress.com

  In the Activity Log under 24th November there appears to be the “What the Heck is Free Will” post noted as it was modified – clicking on that link would bring you to the post currently titled “Does It Sadden Me to Write These Types of posts?”

  Unfortunately it does not bring back the text. And the Does It Sadden Me to Write These Types of posts?”. has been rewritten. There used to be a way of going back on the history of the blog and edit and older draft. Did jetpak replace that. The log doesn’t go back that far. So, there is no way to find the original text.

  It might be worth looking at the post revisions; if you’ve been rewriting the text it should normally be available:
