Drag and drop not working for widgets
-
Hello,
The drag and drop feature is not working for my new Star City Astrology blog. I have tried refreshing, and rebooting and all, but when I drag a widget to the sidebar with the little hand that appears when I hover the cursor over it, it just will not stick in the sidebar. On my other wordpress blog < http://thecalloftheland.wordpress.com/ > things work smoothly. The widgets have the word ADD to the right, and all I need do is click on ADD and they appear in the sidebar neat as you please.
What’s wrong with the Star City blog? I use Firefox 3.5.4 running on my Mac (OS X 10.4.11)
Thanks, Steven
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

When you drage a widget to the sidebar, move it around a little till the outlined grey box appears, then you can release the mouse button.
The only place you would see “add” in the widget area would be on a self-hosted blog using an older version of wordpress – prior to 2.7 (2.8.5 is the current version).

Thank you SacredPath — that does it. It’s a little clunky: I really need to move the widget around for a while — but eventually the outlined grey box did appear, and the widget fell into place. You have been a big help. With appreciation, S.

“Add” shows up in wp.com blogs as well, when you click Screen Options (while on the widgets screen) and enable the “accessibility mode”.
