Dragging images in editor

  I’m no longer able to drag images around the content area in the post editor.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there. I just checked and I’m still able to do that, so it could be a browser issue your side. Try clearing your browser cache and cookies and also see if you can drag images if you use a different browser. http://en.support.wordpress.com/browser-issues/

  Deleting cache or changing browser doesn’t make any difference.

  I’ve found out through this post that it’s images that have captions (using the [caption] shortcode) that aren’t draggable, captionless images are ok.

  Ah, yes. That is true. To move an image with a caption you’ll have to remove it and re-insert it at the correct spot.

  I think that’s a bug. Where can I report it or see if it’s been flagged?

  I’ll tag this for staff for a conclusive answer, but in my experience I’ve never been able to drag images with captions – the image moves, but the caption stays where it was. We’ll see what staff says.

  Not being able to drag images which have captions attached is built in to the Core design (WordPress.org) which we don’t have any control over. If you’d like to make a similar request in the support forums, you can get started right here:
