  I was just wondering if anyone has hosted a blog on DreamHost and can help me figure it out.
  I don’t just want to connect it with a site, I want it to BE the site.

  Sorry this is the wordpress.com forums and “Dream Host” has a different
  set up than wordpress.com so we will not be able to help you…

  How so?
  I want to host a WORDPRESS blog on DreamHost, so it seems like something worth asking here.

  Blogs on Dreamhost that use wordpress software use the version from wordpress.org, although DH offers a 1-click install. Self-hosted blogs are supported in the forums at wordpress.org.

  OKay, basically I need someone here are wordpress to tell me how to change my nameservers, or to change them for me:

  “You need to tel your domain registrar to change your nameservers to
  ns1.dreamhost.com, ns2.dreamhost.com, and ns3.dreamhost.com”

  You don’t need to ask someone here, you need to ask someone at WordPress.org, as Ella explained.

  Nobody is going to do it for you. You need to go into manage domains from your dashboard, follow the steps for a password so you can access it, and repoint from there.

  You have set up your account at dreamhost haven’t you? Everything’s ready to go?
