Dreamhost migration?

  If I migrate to dreamhost, will my blog still appear in the wordpress feeds? Will it still be searchable and followable for other wordpress bloggers?

  I plan to get a refund (it’s been less then 30 days). Should I get a refund before or after migrating? Can I easily teaser my domain to dreamhost?

  Will my blog still appear in the wordpress feeds?

  Provided you migrate over your subscriptions (I can help with that), your posts will still get sent to email followers and will appear in the Reader for WordPress.com followers. However, WordPress.com followers will stop receiving posts via email. For that reason, we recommend posting to your blog indicating that readers should subscribe by email using the widget shown here (available for self-hosted sites):

  Your blog will no longer appear in tag searches like this one:

  http://wordpress.com/tag/music

  Readers will be able to follow your blog through email or through the Reader. However, it will not appear in tag searches as I mentioned earlier.

  Can I easily teaser my domain to dreamhost?

  You won’t be able to transfer the domain until 60 days past the expiration date. However, in the meantime, you can still use your domain with Dreamhost by changing the name servers as described here:
