  I am new to this whole thing and since my rantings are not overly captivating, I want my blog to at least romanticize the eye. I don’t want anything over the top, I just want to know how to add pictures and banners and things that make the page/blog topic pop when posting.

  Try a search through the Support documents for things like Images, Video, Audio, etc.
