Drop and Draging images while editing fora new gallery

When creating a new gallery in a post, I am finding it extremely difficult to drop and drag to order my pictures once they are in the gallery and I am editing them.
It literally took me over an hour to sequence my latest post slideshow, which had 19 pictures, most of which were already in the right order.The old numeric option was far easier and soooo much faster! Please help!- I’ve looked at all of the FAQ’s and support already given.

Hi there – That’s odd, it should be immediate. Could you please give it a try in an alternate browser, such as Chrome, to see if this is a browser-specific issue?
If necessary, you can do this manually by editing the HTML for the gallery and I can explain how, but I’d like to troubleshoot why you’re having trouble dragging and dropping first, since that’s an easier way to do it. :)

Such an easy answer that I am embarrassed I didn’t try it myself. From now on when I have pictures to post I will use Chrome rather than Firefox.. Sooo much easier- and it works!

Sure thing, glad I could help! And it should work in Firefox, too – you might want to try disabling any browser extensions or add-ons you’re using to see if one of them is interfering for some reason. :)
