Drop down categories customization

  Hello,
  I just started using wordpress and Im new to CSS.
  I want the drop down menu widget with categories to look more like this –>ALL Categories drop down menu.

  I don’t know of anyway to change what appears on the dropdown via CSS. I tried a number of things and none of them worked.
