Hello!
I was wondering if anyone could help?
I have a page title with a 12 letter word “extravaganza”, which I don’t think is so unusual. However, the theme I am using does not fit it into one line on the drop down menu (see “shows”). It is currently is split into “extravaganz” on one line and “a” on the next which looks really messy.
Is there anyway of making the menu fit the word? It seems like this could be a fundamental fault in the theme design, as a 12 letter word is not so extraordinary!

Hi there,
As you pointed out, each theme has its own settings for items like drop down menu widths. These can only be changed through the application of custom CSS using the Custom Design add on.

And if you choose to purchase it, your site’s appearance can by modified via CSS by logging in to your Dashboard and then going to Appearance >> Custom Design >> CSS. If you are not familiar or comfortable with CSS coding, you might want to check out our CSS Customization Forums where people go to discuss the changes they’ve made/want to make/need help with/etc. You can find it right here:

Thanks, but I don’t wish to purchase the customization, I already use CSS on other sites. I feel like 12 characters is incredibly limited for a menu title -I do not have this problem with any other theme I use. Perhaps you could review the issue?

We at WordPress.com didn’t actually create the Grisaille theme. That was created by a third party called Nudge Design. Their website is right here:
There are several ways to contact them included on their website which you may want to pursue. I’ve reached out to them as well, however it is always better when they hear from a concerned customer! :)
