Drop Down Menu

  I have a blog post site. I want to have a static homepage that shows this one picture I like and I want people to got to a drop down menu when you can see al blog posts. Or click on the menu link and all the blog posts will be there. How do I do this? I am so frustrated I nearly erased the blog!!!

  Also for a drop-down menu if your theme supports drop-down menu you can surely go ahead and make one for yourself.
