Drop down menu
-

Hi all, thanks for the help on my last enquiry regarding the removal of Links/SEO apps, I just changed the theme in the end as recommended. I’m stuck with one more (hopefully last) issue.
my drop down menu looks very disorganised, is there a way to change the style or so that each page link displays “Horizontally across the page”. So basically so each page shows but can be clicked on without the drop down menu which currently looks very bad/disorganised?
thank you in advance. 👍🤯

Hi @skyferryfltplan,
I had a look at your site’s menu setup, and I see what you mean, it feels a bit jumbled on mobile right now.
The first thing I’d suggest is adjusting the justification of your Navigation block. At the moment, it’s set to “Right,” which is why the items don’t sit neatly in the mobile overlay.
If you switch it to “Center,” the menu items will line up much more cleanly. Here’s how:
- Go to Appearance > Editor > Templates.
- Open the Pages template.
- Expand the Header pattern until you find the Navigation block.
- Click the Navigation block and change its justification to Center.
Here’s a preview of how to change it: https://snipboard.io/IJDdLp.jpg
And this is how it will look afterward: https://snipboard.io/QbiUkY.jpgAnother thing you might consider is shortening the parent menu label “Worldwide Aircraft Delivery & Aviation Consulting Services.” Since it’s quite long, trimming it down a bit or reducing its font size will make it easier to display nicely on smaller screens.
- To edit menu items you can follow the steps here: https://wordpress.com/support/menus/edit-menu-items/#edit-a-menu-item
- To adjust font size (using Rem instead of px for better responsiveness), you can follow the steps here: https://wordpress.com/support/font-size/#adjust-the-font-size-for-specific-content
If you have other design goals for the site, let me know, and I’d be glad to help you shape things further!

Hi Rob,
To display your menu items horizontally instead of in a dropdown:
- Center the Navigation Block:
- Go to Appearance → Editor → Templates → Pages template.
- Expand the Header pattern, select the Navigation block, and change justification to Center.
- Shorten Parent Menu Labels:
- Long labels like “Worldwide Aircraft Delivery & Aviation Consulting Services” can break layout. Trim or abbreviate them for a cleaner horizontal look.
- Guide: Edit menu items
- Adjust Font Size for Responsiveness:
- Use Rem units instead of px for better display on smaller screens.
- Guide: Adjust font size
Following these steps should make your menu display horizontally and more organized.
- Center the Navigation Block:
