Hi,
I have the enterprise theme and I just found out that I can have a drop down menu on the menu tab..
I’ve tried this with the gallery on my menu bar but the drop down menu isn’t showing with my 2 child pages.. can someone help me with this please?
Thanks!

yes, those 2 pages are set as childpren pages of the gallery page in the pages editor..
what do you mean by custom menu? I’m sorry I’m really new to this..
-
Have those child pages been published, or are the still drafts?
You can now set up custom menus on some themes here at wordpress.COM as explained here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/ .
Creating your own custom menu might be the best way to go since it affords you considerable flexibility and allows you to easily add links, pages and categories to the top navigation menu on your site.

Yes, they’re both published.
this is how I saved one child page..<img src=”http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v116/kendz/weddingchildpage.jpg”>
Is this correct?

sorry. here’s the image again

Yes, that looks right to me. I’m not sure why it isn’t appearing.
Take a few minutes and read the link I provided above and make yourself a custom menu. I know that works.

Did you add the child pages underneath gallery and then drag them slightly to the right so that they become sub-tabs?
-
You might have to click the “view all” link in the pages module at appearance > menus to get the full list of pages.
Also, from the “theme location” module, did you select your menu name from the dropdown and then save the changes?

At appearance > menus there is a “theme locations” module. Did you select your new custom menu name from that dropdown?
Also, note in the screen cap how my contact page is directly below the about, but is off to the right? You have to put your child pages directly below gallery, and then drag them slightly to the right so that they become a dropdown under gallery.

You’re very welcome.
Sorry it took me a while to get back to you, but I had a client website that was refusing to allow registered users to download stuff and had to figure out what had happened.
