Drop-down menu not working in Illustratr theme

    Hi! I am facing an issue with my blog, which used to work fine some time back. However, since past few days, the drop-down menu items do not appear. However, when I tried changing my theme, I could see the drop-down menu…I have tried almost everything as per my knowledge, but to no avail. Could you please help me out with this?     I’m using Firefox 31 on Windows 7 on a PC and I see sub-page dropdowns. Example http://gurjasbal.wordpress.com/project-type/travel/

    Please tell us
    (a) Exactly what kind of device you are using to connect to the internet and to WordPress.com.
    (b) Exactly which browser (and version of it) you’re using by checking here if necessary http://www.whatbrowser.org/

    Thanks for helping me out.

    a) I’m using Macbook Pro 13-inches. I tried to access it on an iphone and it seems to work fine there, but not on my laptop.

    b) I’m using Chrome 36 on Mavericks OS X on Macbook pro.
    Alternately, I’ve tried using Safari 7 and Firefox 30, but still couldn’t get the drop-down menus.

    I’ve checked other blogs, using ILLUSTRATR theme and they all seem to be suffering the same way. I’ve tried changing themes and surprisingly, the drop-down menus worked in those.

    Could it be an issue with the theme?

    Sorry for my amateurish sleuthing, just that I’m getting a bit anxious now.

    Hi there!

    Sorry about the trouble you’re having. I checked your blog across all browsers — Chrome, Firefox and Safari — and your menu was dropping down just fine. It might have something to do with your Macbook setup since you mentioned it working in your iPhone.

    Do you have a security, antivirus or ad blocking software installed that might be causing this? If so, please disable them one by one and check on your blog to find out which one is the culprit. Also check if your browser has some plugins installed, and disable those as well.

    Hi!!

    Thanks a lots for your help!

    Even I tried opening the blog on another computer and it seemed to work fine. So ya, I guess it’s something to do with my Macbook.

    I’ll try what you have suggested and hope it all works out.
    I’ll keep you posted as well.
