Drop down menu – remove link for page

Hi, I have the following drop down menu with various items branching from it, looks like this (kind of):

Gear Reviews (main drop down title)
    >Water Filters >> Product 1
    >> Product 2
    >> etc

    >Knives >> Product 1
    >> Product 2
    >> etc

    Tents etc >> product 1
    >> product 2
    >> etc etc

When I hover over the sub catagories (Water filters/knives/tents) the products pop out like a normal menu which is good. However when click on Water Filters, it takes me to a page.. Knives and Tents doesn’t which is perfect. How do make Water Filters NOT take me to a page when i click on it?? It’s not supposed to be a page, just a sub-cat for my list.

I really hope that makes sense!!

    Thanks in advance.

Can you try adding it as a custom link? You can find a how-to here. Look for “How do I create an un-clickable parent tab for my sub-menu?” and you’ll find a screenshot with details.

Let us know if you need more help!
