Drop Down Menu trouble

  Hi! Is it possible that my custom theme design doesn’t allow for drop down functionality? I’m following the steps to add a nested sub menu but it just adds it in the regular menu underneath the menu item I want it under. I checked the theme code but nothing stands out to me as blocking this functionality however I am NOT a web designer and have only a basic level of HTML/CSS knowledge. Thanks, Nicole.

  Please confirm the site address that you need help with as nsievers.wordpress.com looks empty and http://www.nicolemsievers.com is hosted by Wix.
