Drop Down Menus not working properly in internet explorer

  Hi there,
  I’ve got a website (www.tecsemployment.com) which is using the Shoreditch theme. The drop down menu in the main page is working fine in chrome but when you look at it in internet explorer the words all overlap, especially when looking at the summer camp bit.
  1. Most importantly, is there a way to fix this?
  2. Is there a way for the sub topics to open out to the right rather than the left as sometimes they go offscreen to the left?
