Drop in blog hits

Well this is quite worrying, I’ve seen a considerable drop in my blog hits for the last one week. Neither am I getting notifications of comments posted. Don’t know what went wrong.

I’ve got incoming links from a malicious site called “Casa news”, google says it downloads malicious software without the knowledge of the user.

Don’t know if this problem is related to drop in hits. Till last tuesday things were fine, then all of a sudden the drop.

Well, everything there looks fine to me. As long as you delete trackbacks from that malicious site that shouldn’t be a factor.
My blog hits are down on all of my blogs, by maybe 20%; I think that’s just the time of year (and it’s a long weekend here). What kind of change are we talking about here? It’s just possible your audience is all on holidays.

Well my blog audience are programmers related of C++ and VC++. Also is there some problem with user comments notification.

I’ve experienced that comments notification issue on my WP.org blog, but can’t speak to the .com issue, as I don’t use it here. I would contact staff via your support button for that particular issue.
