Dropdown List Within a page or inside Text Widget

Is there anyway to create a clickable dropdown list, when clicked starts a download, is there anyway to do that ?

No. But you can create a page or text widget that has scrollbars.

A clickable link is a clickable link whether it’s on a page or post or in a text widget. If you would like to add a link in your sidebar but don’t know how to write HTML code, the easiest way is to start a new post (make sure it is empty) and use the Visual editor to create your link.

I combined it with List Pages Shortcode (my other new best friend), and it solved a problem with a list that was getting too long.
