Dropdown menu items blocked in Anemone theme
-
I’m using the Anemone theme. I eliminated the featured image portion of most of my pages by using ‘display:none’ in CSS (see Racing–Roster page for example)
This allowed me to move all the content up without the reader having to scroll so far down to start reading. It looks how I want it to, except…
Now when i try to navigate with the menu, the dropdown for each menu item doesn’t come down and it seems to be blocked (perhaps by the ‘display:none’ coding i did in CSS)
Is there a way to make the dropdown work again and unblock it?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
Your navigation is inside of the .site-hero section div, so by customizing the height of that div to 60px, you have limited what your navigation drop-down can use. Moving the navigation out of this div is outside of what you can do with CSS.
Please take this as a friendly suggestion: You might want to re-consider customizing by each page ID as it can result in a maintenance nightmare down the road. :-)
I’m not sure what to suggest other than consider another theme that offers you a layout closer to what you’re looking for or embrace the theme and use that hero div closer to as the theme author intended.
Let us know if we can be of further help! :-)
Cheers,
