dropdown menu not working

Hi there. I’ve published 11 Pages. Then in Appearances I’ve set some of them as Sub Items so they are part of a dropdown menu. However, when I load my webpage to check the changes I’ve made, all the pages appear along the top of the header. None are in a dropdown menu. Please help! It looks awful right now.

Just going from your description of the problem, I suggest checking how you are setting pages as sub items.
You can watch a short animation at this link that shows pages being set as sub items by clicking on the arrow control that points to the right:
https://wordpress.com/support/menus/#reorder-menu-itemsYou will notice when that happens, the sub item becomes indented compared to the horizontal positioning of the top level menu items.
You can also perform the same kind of sub menu assignment by dragging a menu item to the right, or by dragging it under another menu item. When you have the menu the way you want, be sure to remember to save your changes.
